Walter Cronkite's Wisdom

The other night Walter Cronkite was holding forth on CNN's Larry King Live about the possible benefit to President Bush of Osama bin Laden's latest video. According to Ann Althouse, writing at www.instapundit.com, he said:

I'm a little inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing.

Please, Uncle Walter. As one who has long loved you, I urge you to get back on your medication.
