The Fall of Dan Rather

The fall of Dan Rather, long overdue, is nicely discussed in this Michael Goodwin column. It's interesting to read the media coverage about the departure of the disgraced anchorman from CBS. The liberal press refers to the forged documents he used to attack the President as "allegedly forged," "questionable," etc, generally without referring to his history of ultra-liberalism and phony reporting. The conservative press comes right out and says the documents were forged and also recounts Rather's history of dishonesty. No surprises here.
