Say It, Mr. Kerry

Mr. Kerry, you lost the election. As you ponder the reasons, don't forget veterans and Americans who honor them. There are millions of us. We remember, and we vote.

You're going to have plenty of free time, and there's something you need to do.

Some morning at dawn, when few people are around, go to the Lincoln Memorial. Look across the Potomac to the rolling hills of Arlington National Cemetery, where so may brave soldiers rest. As you look in their direction, think about what you did.

Then turn and walk the short distance to The Wall. You know where it is. Descend into that special place, and walk slowly before the names. Feel the heavy burden of their souls pressing down on you.

Then say it, Mr. Kerry. Say you're sorry.

They'll hear you.
