Remembering Auschwitz

Interested-Participant has posted an excellent item that details the killing process at Auschwitz. Please read it. No matter how much you learn and how hard you try it's impossible, in the end, to understand how a civilized people like the Germans descended to this level of depravity. But it happened, and we must never forget.

The official anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz is on January 27--tomorrow.
