Problems of the Left
I highly recommend a recent post at Daisy Cutter on the problems of the left and the future of the Democratic Party. Conservatives will find it very agreeable. Liberals should read it not because they'll agree with much of it (they won't) but because they need to do some serious thinking. The Democrats need to get their act together, and Daisy Cutter pretty clearly shows why.

Thanks for the link, Tom. You're certainly right in that the Left will probably not like the post, but they should at least take a good look in the mirror as to how they appear to a huge swath of the country.
Oh. Brutal. And it conflates a hard-left group with the entire party. Still, it does seem to be this sort of thing that gets more play in Washington. I am not sure if the Washington Dems aren't just as far out of touch with the state Dems as they are with middle America.

A pretty typical sentiment from the extremist right. Let's face the fact Daisy doesn't exactly wish the Dems well. Pretending otherwise is pretty dishonest.
